KODAK "BROWNIE No. 2 Model C"
ca. 1907-1910

This relatively early Brownie is very flimsy even by typically low Brownie standards (at least for those made prior to the 1920s, when construction was improved). Made of thin cardboard with leather-textured paper covering, it has a simple meniscus lens with three aperture stops. The interior film holder is made of very thin wood and cardboard, with felt guides for the film rather than rollers as in later Brownies. It retains the flap covering the back of the film as found in the earlier and much higher quality Bull's-Eye cameras. For such a cheap and low quality camera the condition is remarkable.
